Oh, Slam Poems…
…and why they are my favorite past time.
This is basically a masterpost of a few of my FAVORITE slam poems. I know I’m a bit of a poetry nerd, but hey, everyone should be a poetry nerd. Poetry is AWESOMe.
To me, poetry is a type of music from the soul. Poetry is a way of making even the worst things seem beautiful. And I think that’s why I am so into poetry. I hate the negative things about myself, but about a year ago, I met a guy named David. And he told me something amazing.
